Ca Maria Adele, Venice
Nearest airport - 30 minutes by water taxi from Marco Polo. You can arrive either by water taxi (Ca Maria Adele has its own canal entrance) or vaporetto (the nearest stop is just a few metres away).
‘Wonderfully ridiculous, ridiculously wonderful’ is how Tatler describes Ca Maria Adele, a 12-room boutique hotel in Venice. Located on Dorsoduro it’s just a 2-minute walk from the closest vaporetto stop and one stop on and you’re at the famous Piazza San Marco, one of the most photographed views in the world.
Twelve stunning, theatrical rooms dedicated to those who celebrate love, mirroring the magic and atmosphere of Venice. Multi-award winning boutique hotel, Ca Maria Adele is in a fabulous location opposite the Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute and a 2-minute walk from a vaporetto stop. A romantic idyll in Dorsoduro.
The rooms and suites at Ca Maria Adele are richly furnished, with plenty of velvet, damask and gilt. There are 5 themed rooms, a handful of chic standard rooms, 3 suites, one with its own outside terrace, (a rarity in Venice) and sitting room, but whichever room you book all 12 are full of style and lavish sophistication. Breakfast is a feast served either in a richly furnished sitting room upstairs or in your bedroom.
The service is nothing less than impeccable, ask and it shall be delivered. It’s worth mentioning that the stairs are fairly steep and there’s no lift, so I wouldn’t recommend Ca Maria Adele (or Venice for that matter) for anyone with walking issues. Falling in love with Venice is easy when you’re staying in such a beautiful hotel, one of the best places to stay in Venice.
